Thanks for your great insight, Laurie. The tiny house concept does seem to offer the permanency and independence of what would be most helpfu and essentiall. The vexing problem to me remains the untreated MI and addiction as the main barriers to true freedom. In what relatively little time I spent in counseling is the tremendous amount of 1:1 work needed to lead someone toward recovery. (And fully agree on the triggering when all these individuals are crammed together forcefully through gov sheltering efforts --leading to relapse.) It is not a mass solution as proposed by city leaders that works. I also look forward to learning more about the interdisciplinary team process and how that might aid this vulnerable population. I so value your support and wishing you well as you continue the important work of helping others. ✌❤🌞
